Islamic Development and Relief Agency Food Security and Livelihood component seeks to strengthen livelihoods and improve food and nutrition to vulnerable communities affected with conflict in South Sudan and as well as Capacity building of farmers’ knowledge, appropriate skills on agricultural techniques and production and marketing of products.



  1. Targeted food transfers and distributions to meet the immediate general nutritional requirements and ensure that people have safe access to food of adequate quality and quantity.
  2. Supporting, promoting and assisting in increasing the household income in food production through capacity building.
  3. Good farming programs and relevant targeted trainings for the people to eradicate poverty and improve the living standards of the vulnerable in the society.
